The Author is very pleased, and at the same time very thankful, with the reception of the First Edition of the manuscript: Applied Statistics. Based on the many remarks and suggestions, as well as comments, that were received, it was needed to revise the manuscript and put the second version into use.
The Second Edition is not requiring, as was the case with first edition, that strong mathematical background in order to understand and carry the first course in Statistics.
The first 5 Chapters serve as an introductory course in Elementary Statistics that can be used in many fields of study. The material there can be covered easily in one semester of 15 weeks, based on 3 lectures per week, with enough time for review and exams and/or tests.
Chapter 6, can be included, if time permits in order to give another way of testing on more than two means by carrying the test once after the Analysis of Variance had been introduced
