Blackhatonomics An Inside Look at the Economics of Cybercrime

Will Gragido Daniel Molina John Pirc Nick Selby Andrew Hay, Technical - Personal Name;

When four loosely associated industry colleagues decided to come together
as an author team to write a book, little did we realize how all our combined
experience would amount to a hill of beans when it came to in-depth econometric
analysis, or how drastically the world of information security would
change during the time it took us to write and edit the book. The prophetically
named “Project Mayhem” would evolve over time, eventually taking a
life of its own, impacting the authors and those around us. We managed to
write between overflowing workloads, amazing travel schedules, and disturbingly
challenging changes in the information security world. Work and emails
changed for more than one of us, and we all learned from each other as we
collaborated and progressed in writing the project.
