Excelsior College, the test developer, recommends granting three (3) semester hours of upper-level undergraduate credit to students who receive a
letter grade of C or higher on this examination. The examination may be used to help fulfill the course requirement for the BS in General Business or as a free elective for all Excelsior College degree programs that allow for free electives. Other colleges and universities also recognize this exam as a basis
for granting credit or advanced standing. Individual institutions set their own policies for the amount of credit awarded and the minimum acceptable grade.
Exam-takers enrolled in an Excelsior College degree program should ask their academic advisor where this exam fits within their degree program.
Exam-takers not enrolled in an Excelsior College degree program should check with the institution from which they wish to receive credit to determine whether credit will be granted and/or to find out the minimum grade required for credit. Those who intend to enroll
in an Excelsior College degree program should ask an admissions counselor where this exam fits within their intended degree program
