Introduction to Oil and Gas Operational Safety
We expect the book to be used as a basis for training and as further reference when students are back in their workplace. Although NEBOSH do not stipulate any prerequisites for undertaking this course, they
do recommend that candidates have some form of health and safety qualification to act as a foundation of knowledge and understanding for the successful achievement of this qualification, such as the NEBOSH NGC or IGC.
Either of these courses can be studied with one of our sister publications: Introduction to Health and Safety at Work NGC or Introduction to Health and Safety at Work IGC, both written by Phil Hughes and Ed Ferrett.
The standard of English required by candidates studying for the NEBOSH International Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Operational Safety must be such that they can both understand and articulate the concepts contained in the syllabus
